i put the 4.89's in 2 of my trucks, a wdx, and an m37. i have no regrets. i agree with other response, the additional speed provides a lot of extra push going up hills. i use first gear when starting in uphill conditions, or under load, but use 2nd a majority of the time. i think its worth every cent.
definitely worth it. i.ve ordered 2 more sets for restorations in progress.
