well - the NP540OD turned out to be a NP420, I passed on the 1947 Flat Fender PW, but I came home instead with a WC-62/63.
Also happened across two brand spankin' new Firestone Super Traction 8x19.5 tires, and a set of nice D/W running boards.
Looked at a very decent Burma Ford with a winch, and three others without.
Its been a long day, but worth the effort.
