I have a friend who found a set in the back of a shop that deals with 4wd stuff, bought them, and sold them to a VERY grateful guy who had been searching for YEARS for a set.
They were HUGE!
I am looking at buying a W500 in Canada just to get a set of locking hubs for a different friend.
I think they are the same from 56 to the 70's, but I am not sure.
AAA? Do you know for sure?
My books stop in 68.
If I had a way to move them I would buy any cheap W500-600 I could find with lockouts just to pull the lockouts from.
Maybe there is now a source, but last I heard it was only what people had laying around on the shelf, nobody made them anymore.
If you do find a set be prepared to spend $300-$400.
If you find that you can still buy them new, or you find a shop with several left on the shelf, please let me know.
I need a set for my friends 59 W500.
