My dad used to tell me to straighten up and fly right but when I didn't, he'd always try to align my rear straight with my front(thinking). My son is now ten and I find that just the threat of aligning his rearend gets his rear and front both in alignment.
So there is more than one way to align a rearend. My dad used a stick and I do it with the power of words and tone.
