"Broken Arrow" is what I meant to say.

According PACCAR, Braden was founded in Tulsa in 1924, and based there until breaking ground in 1947 for a new plant to be located in Broken Arrow. Operations were officially moved to Broken Arrow in 1949. This information can be viewed below at my attached link to the PACCAR timeline and substantiated by the image from Global Sales shown here.

So I guess I was not blatantly wrong. My winch is date coded 1947. Civilian 1-ton Power-Wagon collectors have just come to regard Braden as synonymous with Broken Arrow.

Saying "Tulsa" tends to elude to the erroneous idea that Braden winches and Tulsa winches are somehow related.
