Perfect timing! I'm also putting a 265 in a 66 WM300. Here's my challenge:
I'd like to use the balancer that came on the '52 Chrysler 265 that I'm putting in.
But, that balancer, and the 265's pulley, bolt to a pulley hub, unlike the stamped, all-in-one pulley-with-hub from the 251. However, the 265's hub+balancer+pulley put the pulley too close to the block, so that it does not line up with the pulley on the 251's water pump.
Anyone solved this problem? Thanks
