I love "old school" fixes. Had an old WC in my woods for 15 yeaars. Started right up but skipped on one cylinder. I figured out it was a stuck valve. so I pulled the plug put a wooden dowell down to touch the valve, gave it a little tap with a hammer, and I heard a tink sound, unstuck the valve, motor ran fine after that.
