I too remember back into the late 50’s to a summer camp where I worked. It was quite remote and on a island in Schroon Lake, NY. They had two trucks for maintenance that I drove. One was a red Power Wagon. They also had a Dodge, WW II surplus with a bed, painted in camo. That all I remember about the trucks, I was young and they were just old trucks. However, I was taught, and quickly learned how to double clutch which I never forgot. I would have never guessed that many decades later, that Dodge Old Iron would become a very important part of my life.
Ah….. to go back to those days
