No, I use an electric pump. I have a primer switch to prime the carb when the truck sits for extended periods, it makes it much easier to start. The 45 degree brace might need to be bent further out for a mechanical pump, and it's a tricky bend as it is. Yep, I can pull the engine with the mounts attached, just take out the four bolts that hold the engine to the frame mounts. See images. Thanks Jeff!
