The best coffee I ever drank was on our tugboats. Those deckhands didn’t do much but boy they could make good Java & we just bought them plain old Maxwell house.
They just boiled it in an old broken coffee peculator but they claim it works best because in order to make proper coffee the water has to be physically boiling…not just hot water run through a Chinese machine.
See when you go to a fancy coffee shop, those expensive machines are actually pretty sophisticated but a $150 coffee machine…not so much.
It worked I tells ya. Just gotta filter out the grounds.
