Good information Vaughn! Your conclusions were arrived at very logically. And in my opinion, gained from having worked in Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality Inspection roles, the .002 measurement is quite appropriate for the time frame in which these parts were produced even if appearing somewhat liberal today. (That term was meant to be taken in a good way.)
