Speaking of tire size. I have had four different brands of 9.00x16 NDT tires on my trucks over the years. The tire widths and heights all varied between the brands by up to an inch, and these were all new tires. Then there was that one old Goodyear spare I had. Even with noticeable wear it was taller and narrower than all of the rest.
