In thiose days they really put a lot of class into building a vehicle. The rear door windows, the all-steel dash, the wood floor, etc. And it diddn't even have a radio, let alone a reverse view camera, GPS tracking, on-board cell phone, eetc. That truck probably sold new for around $1500.
Today we need cars that are made out of plastic and aluminum, can talk to us, or even drive for us, entertain the kids. They cost 50 times as much and will not last more than a few years.
