Same reason I woke up and couldn't see out of one eye that was fine the day before. The Dr is going to tweak the linkage next month. This month rotator cuff surgery. Ill have to learn to use my left hand more. Also your reason is the same why I waited a year to repair the temp gauge. I had installed a new bulb and the gauge worked great until I shorted it's cable with a wrench on the starter. Installing a new bulb was easy. Getting the old gauge out took me a year to get up the determination to contort my body to remove it.
