I think of headers as being smooth walled steel tubes with either equal length tubes or specific lengths tuned for a specific engine. The manifolds in the link look to be cast iron with unequal length exhaust lengths, and most likely rough cast walls. If I was going to spend time and money on changing the exhaust to get more performance out of the engine, I would go with steel tube headers. I would go with a performance freer flowing muffler rather than glass packs.
