I would never criticize a Phillips screw over a slotted screw head. A slotted head screw can be clocked in only two positions to appear correct. But a Phillips screw can be clocked in four different positions and still be correct. Less chances of being wrong!

I was just being funny there. Trying not to take things to seriously.

I guess my point is that I feel there are folks out there getting taken advantage of, though maybe not intentionally on the sellers part. It just seems that we see a lot of the same trucks changing hands regularly. Some times the asking price decreases with each sale. It appears that there are some cases of buyer's remorse happening there. Maybe because buyers were not getting what they though they were getting. Or, they are learning more about the trucks only after the fact?

A 9-foot box that appears to be from a Chevy on the back of a Power-Wagon does not bother me in the least. Cool. That may be what the previous owner had and he made it work. Impressive. Or maybe the truck has a long history and that was a modification for a specific need early in its life. Interesting, I would like to hear more of the story.

But when the truck is advertised as a beautiful restoration, I bring to our attention details that may not necessarily be obvious to a new owner. I never said I thought it looked bad or reduced the value of the truck. I realize that you know what the critiques intended and I believe most of the rest of the community here does too.

If I ever have the means to build a modified Power-Wagon. I have some big ideas of what I would want. It will not be restored, will get peoples attention. It will be my idea of the best combination of the old and new, and will get me places one would never think a Power-Wagon could go. It will be criticized, and I will welcome any and all as they will definitely give me ideas for improvement.
