Last Nov. I bought 4 Buckshot radials mounted on steel wheels for $400. They are at least 20 years old. Similarly, they were brand new, with almost no use, and stored in a barn. I put them on my plow truck and used them through the winter. I use the truck to pull my boat to the lake. Yes, they have checks and some are pretty good size. But, unless something happens between now and then I will use them again next winter.
You didn't say how much you will have to spend, but if they are a good price, go for it and use them as long as you can.
