There should be rubber bumpers located under the frame rails directly above the rear axle housing. Under heavy load, or extreme off-road articulation, the rear axle housing will make contact with these bumpers.
Take a measurement between these bumpers and the axle housing, add additional distance for larger tires and/or tire chains you may add in the future and this total distance is the minimum clearance you need between your existing tires and the underside of your flatbed.
