use it! my ffpw has the original 6v works great! especially in winter1 in fact i just recently replaced a 12v with a six volt in my m-37 plow truck (was converted from 24 to 12) last fall, even at -20 it starts right up! main thing is do not crank for extended periods the windings can heat up!
