It's been a problem here in Colorado for about 3 years now. The lock-down started it all, but even as things started to loosen up, no one was coming back to work. We've been full-bore for over a year now, and still very few people have returned to the workforce. Most of my subs can't hire ANYONE, let alone someone that wants to work and knows what they are doing. When I've tried to find new subs, they won't take the work because they too are short staffed. And that's just talking about the guys that are still in business. Several of my vendors are simply gone - closed up and gone. I have no idea where they went or what they are doing now.
