I have owned only brake pedals from 1956 and earlier, so I can't say if the two you have are unchanged or not. However, someone in a post below mentioned that the change in pedals was visually evident in the upper end where the pad is located for your foot to press on. But neither of the numbers cast into the pedals in the images you showed match what I find in my parts manuals. I do not know those part numbers offhand, but I did list them in one of my posts below. There are many Power-Wagon parts that have casting numbers on them. Those casting numbers are typically not even close to the actual listed part number of the particular part. I have never seen a list of "casting numbers" if one exists. I would suspect that one would have to find the original engineering drawings to see if they referenced casting numbers. Casting numbers typically designate the raw cast part before it gets final machining performed, at which time it gets assigned a "part number". It appears that this may be the case with the brake pedals also.

As a side note, sometimes Vaughn provides part numbers with a "CC" prefix, as does Vintage Power Wagons. I have a thirty-one separate and unique MoPar issued parts lists for the civilian Power-Wagon spanning 1945 through 1968 (not counting supersedence lists and parts lists supplements). None show a "CC" prefix in front of the part numbers.

I think the "CC", may be a military thing, but I do not have any military parts manuals to confirm. Maybe Vaughn can confirm?
