According to the June 1957 K-Series parts book, starting vehicle serial number for the K6-W300 was 83,952,001. The bracket CC-1787107 is listed as the correct bracket. It actually changed sometime mid 56, my 47-56 book is dated April 56 and lists only the early bracket, yet the NP420 was being installed probably mid 56 in the C4 model and would have required the new bracket and the new cab floor transmission cover. The bracket may have been listed, if there was a later parts book generated, or parts list, as the 57 book does not indicate "not listed in any previous part books" There was no change in brake pedals used, CC-921689 is listed in the 57 book. I believe you are correct in safely saying the S/N 83949164 would be good for the part change as all parts would have been needed to install the NP420, especially one with a winch.
