I bought an 89 W350 firetruck a few years ago and am finally ready to remove the service box and pump to fit a flatbed on it. I'm having trouble finding a fuel tank for it. As in no one makes a replacement gasoline tank, and none of the yards have anything, either.
Do any of you know if there is a difference in fuel tanks, diesel vs gas? I can find replacement diesel tanks everywhere.
I have a couple Dakota tanks stored away that I could engineer to fit, but I'd rather go with something original if I could.
