The one clipped into the bucket in your photo is what the original nut looked like. The ones I bought for mine from DCM looked exactly like that. The current repro looks to be made of black plastic. The adjustment screws and springs are exactly like the original. Your buckets look great. Mine had pinholes and I used JB Weld to fill them following a tip from Ric Tudor. The bases are easy to put on. I'm like you......learning as I go.
