It is absolutely nuts! My guess is that real price rises are about 3 times what the fed is telling us? I ordered a burger and a soda at Carl's Jr. and the window person said it would be $12. I, very calmly expressed my wonderment and said never mind. The window person said he could lower it to $10. I said ok only because it seems so nice of him to offer.
