Since you mentioned WM300 I assume you are asking about the PTO shaft to the winch and not a PTO shaft to the rear of the truck?

Some (maybe not all) of those winch shafts required agricultural u-joints rather than automotive u-joints.

Have you checked Vaughn's PIF?
