I spent some time looking at your photos really closely. Here is what I think.

1) Compression leak between between cylinders where the head gasket is the thinnest. So Leaks between 1 and 2, 3 and 4, and 5 and 6. 5 and 6 seem to have the most leaking.

2) It looks like there may be a coolant leak between 3 and 4 based on the staining I see. Also cylinders 3 and 4 are the cleanest with 4 being the cleanest. I wonder if coolant is getting into them and hitting the hot valves and piston and vaporizing and cleaning them.

You did not mention if you were seeing steam out the tail pipe or if the tail pipe smells like antifreeze or there is liquid antifreeze in the exhaust system (condensing in the pipes when the engine is shut down). If this is true, then I would suspect a head gasket leak over a cracked block.

At a minimum you need to have the head machined/planed to make sure it is perfectly flat so there are no compression leaks between cylinders. Also you need to put thread sealant on the head bolts that go through the water jacket in the head.
