I was once one of a bunch of volunteers doing a free remodel job. My best friend and mentor was in charge. Everyone knew the bathroom and closet doors needed 1 1/2" cut off the bottom to accommodate the new pad and carpet, but nobody wanted to tackle the job. My friend got tired of everyone's excuses and pulled the doors off and went to work cutting off the 1 1/2". Unfortunately he cut it off of the top of the doors instead of the bottom. :) :)
