I miss Norm.
I’m kind of proud of having had the chance to learn from him, all the times he answered dumb questions and set me straight about dodge details. It’s kind of like being the mouse that’s proud because Speedy Gonzales dated his sister. Because Speedy dated everybody’s sister. Ha.
Fwiw, as I understand it, the word norm has caused confusion with US government staff overseas who assume it means normal, average, usual etc but in Euro military-verbiage (at least in Italian) a norm is a requirement, a “thou shalt” statement, the standard that must be met, etc.
