When I built my trucks, Ray and I had a chat.
I told him I required 8 holes so all holes in the
rotor had bolts. When Chevy designed the
rotors they felt the need for 8 bolts. I believe the bean counters would have loved going only 4 holes and saving costs. Further NY State requires vehicle safety inspection. I can see a inspector failing the vehicle due to missing
bolts in the rotors ? Bottom line, Ray supplied
hubs with 8 bolts for 5 trucks disks front and rear
