When I restored my model DS (Dodge Special) Good Roads snowplow, I had to fabricate one part that was missing out of heavy angle iron and 1/2 inch thick plate. I was just learning how to weld so the welds ended up looking like I had stuck the pieces together with bubble gum. They fit in perfect with the original welds. Very few people know what part I had to make because of that.

The Power-Wagon kind of falls into the whole "Form follows function" line of thinking. My best looking truck has the most runs in the paint between the two I have and both still wear the original paint. Also, it has one side of the dash mounted about a 1/2-inch higher on one side of the truck than on the other. But it all functions perfectly as designed so I am good with it.
