I live in Culpeper county VA and I know of a forlorn 2nd series PW sitting in a lot nearby. I am not in the market for another project- I am busy with my 1/2 ton and an M37 in the wings. At the rate I get these done I may be nearing the end of my life- lol. This truck looks complete and has a plow lifts set up on it. Its been there for at least 15 years- back then I asked the owner if he was interest in selling it. He said the typical "I'm going to get to it"...Well apparently he never got to it. It is exposed to the elements as the blue tarp on it has deteriorated to nothing but shreds. I figure I should again ask him about his plans. I have no idea what to offer. My idea is to put it up on the forum for sale since all I want is to know is that it doesn't end up as scrap. Any ideas?
