Well, you know those ecologist: gotta protect little fishes, can't clean the forest floor, need the dead fall and brush nutrients for living trees, expanding housing into mountains disturbing ground and ya, the grass does help control mud slides, taking out dams for Salmon reproduction, can't farm out dead trees from beetle infestation, Cartels gotta have their Marijuana farms in National Forests, we can't hunt mountain Lions which are going into LA/SF for pets and kids, and any trial hikers, but there is a 1-800 number you can call for assistance when confronted with one on the trial, gotta use steel shot, no more lead for hunting, oh did I mention the Mountain Lion and Coyote freeway over-crossings so they can get into the cities a little easier to ravage, no more fossil fuel vehicles sales after 2035, diverting water from the central valley to the bay area, gotta protect some fish that only is found in certain rivers, and be careful in looking for a place to live out here, some towns have sunk 30 feet from pumping out water, could impact the value of your home.
So if we can get a little water that might be helpful to all the activities and annual events that occur in the state, that might be a good thing.
But there is light at the end of the tunnel. Government out here is thought to be the model for the rest of the country, so all this good stuff may be coming to a town near you.
