Josh, If you live in a state that requires an I.M. test for registration renewal, the best thing to do is contact the state refere office. They should be able to tell you what emission stuff is required. Some states go by the year of the vehicle, others go by the engine, and so on and so on. I've known guys (as I'm sure others have also) who have had after market parts on their engines and have had to put back on the factory stuff just to pass the I.M. test. Then they put their after market parts back on until the next time the registration is up for renewal. Robert
