Paul was media blasting, NOT sand blasting. I would recommend to NEVER sand blast sheetmetal, only heavy items like frames etc. and since the advent of media it is more efficient, cheaper and safer to use media than sand on any material. There are dozens of products out there that are metal specific medias for use in blasting at lower pressures with better and faster results than sand.
