after closer inspection the fan pulley is in fact a cast iron pulley. it is approx. an inch in dia. bigger,has the balance holes drilled in it and also has 4 squarish lugs that protrude from the casting toward the fan blade. are there any other clues to look for to know what this pulley was intended for? i doubt this truck(a three digit serial no. wdx)was set up for a mech. gov.probably something else .any ideas? someone out there mentioned a power steering setup.was that that a dealer option? thanks,jim.
