Not sure about your air compressor set-up. I have an under-hood air compresssoer on my Burb and it's like having a shop compressor with me at all times. 0-150+PSI in less than a minute. Fills tires, runs air tools, etc... no comparison to the 12V jobs. Mine is on-off switch controlled from the cab and should only be operated at idle engine speed. Maybe your compressor is from an "air-brake" configuration from a different truck? Let us know what you find out? Thanks!
