I agree with Paul. But...instead of buying a new tank make it. You can have a tank bent out of either 16 or if you want a little heavier material use 14 gauge (.083") steel. I have a fellow down the road that used the slip roll to bend up the shell. It has radiused corners similar to the original. Then it is a simple matter to cut both end plates and a couple of baffles to fit the shell. I sat the end plates in about 3/8" and mig welded the whole thing together. After your done welding fill it with water and pressurize it with 10 psi and look for leaks. If it leaks (it probably will) grind out the bad weld and repair. Quite a bit of work overall but if you have one of these trucks you probably like this kind of stuff. For me it is always better to do it yourself than give away your money.
