I'd be guessing if i know why yours seemed to fit and mine didn't. Perhaps others here know the differences between the two rigs and/or axle housing or height. Knowing the exact location of the slant 6 oil pump, I'd be interested to know just how much clearance you really have between the dif and the pump. It's important to keep in mind that my measurements included complete front spring compression to assure of no contact between the axle and the pump. BeepBeep
