Just picked up a GV overdrive that was originally installed in a late model GM 4X4. It's going into my '56 C3PW. Looks like it will need to be mounted on a separate crossmember behind the TC & connected with a U-joint. Totally different spline diameters & counts on the TC output vs. OD input & same problem with the OD output to driveshaft connection. Anyone know of U-joint center sections with dissimilar diameters that will connect the 2 different yokes? Also the input to the OD is female that fits to a GM output. Are there yokes that will fit into this spline receiver? If you're going to tell me to talk to Gear Vendors, save your time. So far, they have been no help at all.
