It is more than likely your TPS(throtle position sensor).These are known to be the cause of "most" automatic trans problems for the Dodges.From the dealer there NOT cheep, anywhere from 175.00 to 215.00.most of the time the symptom seems to be the tranny goes in and out of overdrive,as well as those that you mentioned. The "tps" is located on your fuel injection pump. It has a coulpe of wires that plug into it.The sensor it's self is held on by two allen screws.Try taking it off and cleaning it with contact cleaner,this MIGHT help..good luck
