Not PW related...overdrive transmission

I have 3 overdrive transmissions I have collected over the years. I just recently completed the installation of one in my 48 Plymouth. This one came from a 55 Plymouth and one of the others from a 53 is identical.

But I can't id the third. I know it came from a Chysler prod, has the shift levers on hte side like the 48 does. But the transmission is not the same visually.

It has MF2 and R7B1 cast into it, and the part number might be 853853 (also cast in).

Anyone know what this is was originally for....an early 40s machine??
