1/2 ton, definitely, note the elongated rear wheelarch and the civilian guage types.

The configuration is almost right for a truck that shouldn't be in the continental US, a WC 42 1/2 ton radio panel truck, they made 650 of them as T215s for the British in 1942 and two survive in manchester, England, plus one in Italy somewhere.

That was the only 1/2 ton made with a metal roof panel on the original Dodge shell, but it had a ventillator fan cut in the rear roof to cool the heat from the radio units just where that patch panel vent thing is.

It was based on the WC 11 / WC 19 1/2 ton panel which is a rare truck (they just didn't make many of them) but with uprated electrics, rear body battery boxes, rear operators seats.

If it's not the radio version it's probably a vanilla WC 11 or WC 19 panel that someone has cut a side window in.
