One of the major questions that you have to ask yourself is what will be your liability if someone using your conversion kit ends up seriously injured or killed and blames his own misfortune/idiocity on you.
It doesn't matter if you are not at fault the cost of defending yourself will leave you penniless for your natural lifespan.
Not to discourage you but if you cannot obtain liability insurance, and this is almost a certainty because of the nature of the device, you might want to reconsider or else license/manufacture it offshore.
