Time to start thinking about my wish list for the spring sales and Christmas.
This is my starting list of equipment needed to recovery a PW wagon once it is stuck. Since a PW is much larger/heavier than most companion vehicles (jeeps etc) self recovery needs to be possible.
What did I miss?

List of recovery equipment.
1. Shovel.
2. High lift jack with 2 6x8 jack pads.
3. two 20 ft tow chains.
4. 25 ft tow strap.
5. 10 ton hydralic bottle jack.
6. two sets of tire chains with tensioning straps/springs.
7. two spare tires.
8. Winch.
9. 150 ft winch extension cable.
10. winch deadman
11. 10 gals extra fuel
12. 10 gals drinkable water
13. Spare parts - spark plugs, spark wires, points, condenser, distributor cap, fuel filter, radiator and heater hoses.
14. Spare engine oil, gear oil.
15. CB/FRS/Ham radio or Cell phone
16. traction mats
