2002 will be the year of suspension on my '41. I need to replace the springs and I'm going to {try} to add some of them IAS type shocks, to try and make up for a lack of sway bar. Add a steering stabilizer, get the front end aligned, and have fun driving.

At, 65mph the road gets real exciting for a WC without some suspension help.

I drive with my hands at 11:30 & 12:30 and the elbows at 4:00 and 8:00 it keeps the head from banging the back of the cab and makes it quicker to duck the head for the big bumps, oh to only be 5'6" tall, 6'2" sucks.

With the '46 firetruck I try to cruise with 250-300 gals of water in the tank. That is enough to keep the back planted without seriously effecting the performance of the truck. Water makes a great shock absorber.

Have fun
Lew VB
