Kevin, is your M880 still the military camoflage, or O.D. Green? You might find you'll have to prime it first. We (kids and I) painted mine years ago... okay, it was Zebra striped, but that's besides the point! We sanded like crazy, but the paint wouldn't stick! I have no idea what kind of paint the Army used, but the stuff was nasty, thick, put on with a brush in most places, so we sanded it all down thinking it would help. Nope. Had to prime it all. Might want to find that inconspicious spot first and test the paint out. Good luck with your project!
