He needs a shroud for sure but also most Ramchargers came with small blocks in them and 2-row radiators. Big blocks require at least a 3-row and 4 is better. also if he got the 413 out of a C body with air and removed the air conditioning compressor and did not put the proper water pump pully on then the flow is going to be too fast, and cooling diminished. Last, be sure and check the plugs for a lean condition in the engine, as that will overheat it also. Big blocks like lots of air and fuel and putting a smaller carb on them sends them into a lean situation thus raising the engine temps.
