I was looking at the differential tool diagrams on the PIF and thinking about maybe making a few sets of the lug sockets for interested people. They would be easy enough to make on the mill. I found DOM steel that would work, and then I looked at the price. $20 PER INCH for 3-7/8" DOM steel!!! Per INCH!!! That's $70 before any machine work.

And scrap steel goes for nothing!
