I saw a video in which rivet nuts were installed using a bolt, and a nut and a couple washers. Has anybody ever tried to install clinch nuts without a special tool? Can rivet nuts be used instead of clinch nuts? I want to use clinch nuts on my floorpan because that is what the floorpan had originally, but I don't want to buy a super expensive tool. Suggestions?
